Homes & Gardens, November 1997
'The streamlined traditional kitchen in Jane Cook's Lutyens-designed house remains true to the architect's philosophy. Jane Cook is a successful businesswoman who spends as much time as she can in the kitchen because, quite simply, she loves to cook. She chose a large room for the kitchen. it had to be big enough to take a large table, for meals with the family as well as all the friends her teenage children bring home. Of equal importance was to be close to the plot of land she has turned into the kitchen garden.'
